By using TitheFlow, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Platform Overview

TitheFlow is an online donation platform that enables churches to accept donations from their congregation and the public. TitheFlow acts as a technology intermediary and is not a financial institution or charity.

2. Church Accounts

  • Churches must provide accurate registration information
  • Each church is responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials
  • Churches must connect a valid bank account via Stripe to receive donations
  • TitheFlow reserves the right to approve, suspend, or terminate church accounts
  • Churches are responsible for their own tax-exempt status and compliance

3. Platform Fees

TitheFlow charges a 1.5% platform maintenance fee on each completed donation. This fee is automatically deducted before funds are transferred to the church. In addition, Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) applies. These fees are clearly disclosed to donors at the time of giving.

4. Donor Responsibilities

  • Donors are responsible for ensuring their payment information is accurate
  • Donations are generally non-refundable unless the church approves a refund
  • TitheFlow is not responsible for the tax-deductibility of any donation
  • Donors should consult a tax advisor regarding charitable deductions

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use TitheFlow to:

  • Process fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
  • Collect donations for non-religious or non-charitable purposes without disclosure
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent platform fees or security measures

6. Stripe Connect

Church payouts are processed through Stripe Connect. By connecting a bank account, churches agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

7. Recurring Donations

Donors who set up recurring donations authorize TitheFlow and Stripe to charge their payment method on the selected schedule. Donors may cancel recurring donations at any time by contacting the church or TitheFlow support.

8. Limitation of Liability

TitheFlow is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the platform fees collected in the 30 days prior to any claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of TitheFlow after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered churches of material changes via email.
